Dabi's Journey is a full 78 Tarot Card deck project which follows the Tarot story of The Fool's Journey.
"Dabi's Journey" is a Tarot Card project that follows the Tarot story of The Fool's Journey, and tells the story of fan-favorite villain, Dabi. This will be a full deck of cards and will be physical.
What is The Fool's Journey?
The Fool's Journey is a metaphor for the journey through life. Each major arcana card stands for a stage on that journey - an experience that a person must incorporate to realize its wholeness.
◇ GENERAL INFORMATION ◇
◇ Do we have to have prior experience to be the finance and production mod?
Yes, you do. We'll only be taking in someone that's worked in both of those positions before. Although you do not need to be zine experienced.
◇ Will this be for profit or for charity? ◇
This project will be for profit.
◇ How many contributors will be accepted?
We will be taking in 39 artists altogether and the writers are to be decided.
11 of the 39 artists will be invited and they will be creating the art for the 22 Major Arcana tarot cards.
◇ How many Tarot cards will be in this Deck?
This will be a full 78 Tarot card deck. All 22 Major Arcana cards and all 56 Minor Arcana cards will be included.
◇ What is the theme of this project?
We will be following the storyline of “The Fool’s Journey”.
◇ How many pieces will we be creating?
Artists will be creating 2 cards each and writers will be writing for multiple cards.
◇ Will we get to choose which cards we create for?
You will get to choose which 2 of the 4 suits you would like to create for and the moderators will assign you your specific cards.
◇ How will contributors be compensated?
The contributors will receive monetary profit and if sales go well, they will receive physical compensation.

◇ APPLICATION QUESTIONS ◇
◇ Are we allowed to apply for more than one position?
Yes, you are, but if you are accepted it will only be for one position.
◇ Do we need a portfolio to apply?
A portfolio is optional but it is not required. If you do submit a portfolio, we ask that it be up to date.
◇ How many pieces must we submit?
It is a requirement that you submit 3 pieces.
◇ Are we allowed to submit more than 3 pieces?
If you would like to submit more than 3 pieces, you must submit a portfolio.
◇ Are WIPS allowed?
WIPS will not be allowed. It is required that the pieces you submit are fully completed.
